Get ready for some serious energy!

If you're like most Kansas Citians, you are ready for a seasonal change in the air. Good news -- YOU'VE MADE IT! Spring is a few weeks away, next week is looking warmish, and everyone gets an extra evening hour with the time change this weekend. 

If you're realizing that maybe you haven't been the best at executing your New Year's resolution, March is a better time than any to do something great to get back on the right track. 

Challenge yourself this month to start training for something, ANYTHING! Set a time or distance goal for your workouts. Sign up for something "crazy" - a 5k and beyond. Check out these cool local events that are sneaking up on us…

March 14th - St. Patrick's Day 4 miler in Westport
March 14th - Big XII 5k or 12k
April 11th - Rock the Parkway 5k or half marathon
April 26th - Trolley Run 4 mile
May 10th - Mother's Day 5k
May 25th - Amy Thompson 5k or 8k
Hospital Hill 5k, 10k or half marathon

This is just a sample of a long list of awesome local events that are coming up. Pick one, harass a buddy to do it with you, and renew your drive to accomplish your goals this year!
