Stop Throwing Away Fresh Food!! Grocery List with 3 Simple and Healthy Dinners

Between work, family time, recreation and keeping up the house chores, having a healthy looking refrigerator can be tough. You attempt to buy groceries once a week and find yourself tossing out all of the fresh produce you purchased. You get frustrated and fall back to bad habits, shopping in the junk food aisles and avoiding the fresh section at the store. If you can commit to hitting the store a couple times per week, you can design plenty of healthy recipes for your family.

As requested by a busy and overwhelmed client, I made an easy 3-day grocery list with simple dinner ideas for two people. In just five minutes, I was able to create this list, keeping in mind fresh and lean ingredients that will assist them in weight loss. If you do this twice a week, it’s only a ten minute investment and your family is worth it!

Meat: 
2 Chicken Breasts (You can split one chicken breast between two people)

Produce: 
Spinach
2 medium Sweet Potatoes
Strawberries
Asparagus
Garlic
Apple
Yellow Onion
Walnuts

Groceries:
Lemon
Rosemary Spice
Olive Oil
Salad Vinaigrette

Dairy:
Milk
Eggs - boil 4-6
Plain Greek Yogurt

Dinner #1:
Grilled Chicken Breast - prep with Olive Oil, Juice from Lemon, Rosemary Spice
Boil Sweet Potatoes and mash and mix with a little milk and greek yogurt
1/4 cup Strawberries for dessert 

Dinner #2:
Spinach Salad - Spinach, chopped strawberries, walnuts, steamed and chopped asparagus, sliced boiled eggs or chicken. Find a healthy vinaigrette that you simply dip your fork into before you stab the salad.

Dinner #3:
Grilled Chicken Breast 
Grilled Asparagus 
Sauteed Spinach and Garlic with Olive Oil
Apple for dessert
